The fine line…..

What’s the fine line between confidence and cockiness?

When would you think ‘he’s a dick’ rather than ‘I like how he comes across’

If he tells you he’s a great lover do you see that as arrogance or as someone confident in their abilities?

It’s a fine line, so always worth asking peoples opinions right?

Being able be humble and show that humility.

You can be confident and humble.

Without it, its just vicky and arrogant

Having confidence in myself and my abilities while also knowing my limitations is one thing.

Telling others how good I am, how nice I am or how kind I am is often referred to as cockiness or arrogance.

In my opinion it's actually a sign of insecurity more than anything else. A fear of others not seeing what you see.

How they treat others.

A confident person has no need to belittle or self promote themselves at the expense of others.

Saying I’m a great lover is one thing. Saying I’m the best you will ever have is another.

I would see someone telling me they are a great lover as cocky /arrogant as it's an opinion rather than fact

What one person classes as a great lover someone else may class as mediocre or dull

Even if it's what other have said, it's still opinion or ego stroking. people are unlikely to tell someone to their face that they had to fake it

Confident people know who they are and arrogant people try to convince you who they are.

Personally, I feel like, if someone has to tell people they're a good lover they're probably not...also, I'll be the judge of that

Confident people don't need to tell you how good they are.

I'm not sure tbh, I like it when a man is proud of his abilities so much that he is confident enough to tell me that he is.

Maybe it's just me but as long as he is not slating others, I'll happily listen to him crow

Personally it’s a very clear line between cockiness and quiet confidence.

And I know my preference of the two

Say it to yourself and believe without having to voice it

Confident people are (in my experience) silent about it, it's others who see then act/behave or talk that deem them Confident,

Cocky tends to be the other way round, all eyes look at me type, loudest ffker in the room, usually talking utter Shite,, again in my opinion.

If I’m in a bad mood or a bit grumpy, it’s always cockiness.

If I’m in a good mood/horny, I might chalk it up to confidence.

There’s no objective line.

Someone who described themselves as a great lover, however, I could probably never take seriously again full stop.

Not if I'm the person receiving I think a lot depends on someone's own self esteem maybe

I didn’t know what phrase to write .. I didn’t know whether to go with ‘best you’ve ever had’ or ‘whole package’ or any of the other descriptions haha maybe lover I should have chosen better haha

No marks were lost for grammar in this section of the examination

That answer!

We've had SO many messages "guaranteeing" Alice the best time she's had, more orgasms than she can handle, to squirt even if she never has before, etc. etc.

They simply reveal that they don't know much about how human sexuality works - and never get to meet us anyway.

One is a less intelligent trait than the other.

One form is less wise than the other.

One is a self distorted view you show to others.

One behaviour tries to convince yourself and others of your strengths, without being fully self aware of your weaknesses.

One manner is likely to act impulsively when challenged.

One way is assertive yet gentle, humble, kind.

“When I am silent, I have thunder hidden inside….”
