I hate this word.

If I send a message to a guy saying I'm not looking to meet etc all I get back is

Shame...

Why is it a shame? It's not a shame for me, I'm very happy about the fact that I'm not looking to meet right now. Do they think I'll change my mind because they say 'shame'??

Possibly as its a shame for them, they obviously want you but at least you didn't get abuse

This is true.

I've always hated the word though, think it's because of the way my mum and nan use it when talking about people less fortunate than themselves
