We know this subject has been on before, but thought we'd have another go!

What do you think of text speak?

Our pet hates are:

1) Sentences / paragraphs with no full stops or capital letters.

2) The word 'yous'

3) Any form of text speak.

We decided ages ago not to reply to anyone using the above. We feel that if they can't be bothered to write to us in a decent way, then they are likely to have the same attitude with a meeting.

We're not snobs, but feel we deserve a bit better than some out there are willing to give.

What do you think?

I hate text speak, and text long hand on the phone too! Big anal I know, however, I am probably from a different generation to those who txt spk!

Text speak sould be just for phones - on here in messages it looks like people don't have time or can't be bothered

I hate text speak.

Even when I send a text on my phone I use capital letters and punctuation.

Bad spelling is another one of my pet hates. No one is perfect, myself included, but sometimes it appears that folks just don't even make the effort.

my pet hates regarding words/type etc is when people get their there's mixed up, lol, doesn't bother me enough to be so concerned mind, and I'm in no way perfect with my spelling and Grammar.

Text talk doesn't bother me so much but I do prefer a proper typed message.
