Used to love Woolies, pick and mix, children's toys, music, clothes, gardening plus lot's more all in the one shop. Who else would like to see the return of a certain high street shop and why. X

Just go in Tesco or any supermarket and pretend it's Woolworths.

They have pick n mix, music, books, clothes, electricals etc.

You young uns have no appreciation for the awesomeness that was Woolies.

I got knocked back for an Eminem CD from Woolies when I was 13. I stole a couple of things out of the pick n mix as revenge

I really miss woolies. The amount of random stuff I could pick up there was insane. I need curtain hooks, get them in woolies. Want to dye a pair of shoes, get the dye in woolies. Lost my padlock off the garage, pick up a new one in woolies.

Even now I'll need something odd and not know where to buy it, and I find myself thinking "woolies would've had that".

Woolies Pick n Mix, being at an age when you didn’t worry that the milk mouse you’ve put in your bag, could’ve been picked up by someone who’s not washed their hands after a toilet break, or the Kola Kubes (correct spelling) may have already been sucked and put back.

I'm unfortunately not that young I well remember Woolworths.

Pic n mix has been ruined for me after I saw a kid drop some sweets on the floor and just pick them up and put them back in the dispensers.

love the idea but it would not be the same store we all remember when we were kids woolies used to stock just about everything you might need and it was the first store you needed to go to if you had need of something,, nowadays no store has a vast range of stock,, anything that will not sell quickly is not cost effective,,

Never get anything displayed loose like that. Have you not seen them squeezing the cakes, pstries and bread at the bakery counter before they decide what to buy? And that's just mum and dad.

Don’t grass me up (snitches get stitches) but my one and only shoplifting experience was stealing a sweet from the pick n mix in Woolies.

I’m not proud of it () and I have never stolen from a shop since. But it’s off my conscience now
