"Organisation is another topic of debate "

ok.. it is..

you should also note that i have seen accident and emergency in the weeks running up to "remember remember the 5th of november" - or - the night that nurses would rather forget..!!

the missing fingers and parts of the ear and nose and eyes !!

and its mostly silly teenagers.. with the odd sprinkle of mad D*unk adult... that maybe lit a firework that was stuck up his anus..

responsible people with fireworks is fine..

so why waste money on a couple of hundred quids worth of supermarket crap and have a home display when you could quite easily - pay about a fiver each to watch £thousands of pounds worth of an organised display !!!

If you have witnessed all these atrocities then I suggest you stop indoors (with your cat) in a soundproof environment

Bucks

we had same problem about a month ago , though nothing recently so maybe yr problem is either (a) a drawn out birthday celebration or (b) a local store has stocked up already for Bonfire Night :---(

have to agree with a previous poster - ban the sale of them

We have 3 shops that open for around six weeks, then close again .... No ID is ever required and they sell them pretty cheap. I think water bombs are much more fun
