Why are there no sexy male underwear...?

OK, when I say sexy male underwear, I mean it in the most stereotypical masculine way possible, like something a barbarian or gladiator would wear ( ok maybe not to that extreme ). I know there are pink fluffy underwear for men (that's fine if you find that sexy, more power to you) but for me personally that's just not sexy ( at least not the type of sexy I want to feel like). Went to Ann Summers with a friend and I asked for sexy male underwear, and I was given a red thong with an elephant nose in front , how is that sexy? That's just comical rather than anything else . I envy women sometimes, honestly...you have so many options of underwear and lingerie you can choose from, us men have briefs and boxer briefs that look somewhat sexy on us, and don't get me started on the colours, because if it's not white, black, grey, dark grey, dark blue, dark green, dark red or shades of dark colours, it just doesn't look "manly". I know that times are changing and more men are breaking stereotypes, but are there any brands that make sexy male underwear and cater more towards men?

Maybe you've found a gap in the market? When you need an accountant and photographer can you just remember me

It does exist but it's mostly marketed to gay men.

Some men you're lucky to get them in ones that don't have holes or stains so I'm guessing there's not a huge market for it with straight men unfortunately. There's more out there on the fetish side of things.

I’ve found the same problem. Most “sexy” men’s underwear are marketed towards gay men. I have a few pairs of Box briefs. Didn’t even realise it was a “gay” brand when I bought them. Can’t remember how it’s spelt, but I used to buy some sexy stuff off a site called Kiniki (like I said, might be spelt entirely wrong)

OK I'm not getting into this debate with you over underwear , but I do believe there are underwear and lingerie that cater more towards the female demographic and underwear that cater more towards a male demographic

I’ve got quite a few pairs of Hollister Lycra type boxers which work well.

I’ve also got several pairs of sheer boxers which C loves me in.

There are a lot of options now…it just depends on your definition of sexy underwear.

But I wouldn’t expect Ann Summers to have a good range at all

Definitely look on sites aimed towards gay men. They have much more choice! Colour and style.

I quite like the underwear you have on in your picture. I do understand you might like different choices though.

Definitely sounds like a business opportunity there.

Unfortunately the choice is lacking if you are shopping on the high street. Quite a few choices online that have already been mentioned.

I buy mesh or sheer colours from Amazon which look good and don’t look feminine. I have a pic wearing some on my profile.

How about pants made with a material that looks like raw meat but impregnated with the scent of 2-stroke engine oil and Swarfega.

Fair comment. Imagine women asking for sexy underwear and getting a thong with snake eyes and a flickering tongue ....

How long before someone says that's a turn on 5.....4.....3..2..

Not intended as a political statement at all; but is the huge disparity in range and options between men and women also largely to do with marketing, a long history of objectification? Decades of soft porn and glamour photography etc. So Today there is a much bigger expectation and therefore market for female product vs male.

It is an interesting thought but I imagine the demand for “sexy” male underwear is niche. Then again it could well take off. Never though I’d see a bloke working in a makeup shop. But times are changing and tasted and options adapts. Still can’t see AP selling many £500 boxers though.

The market is dictated by supply

The reason there aren’t any is because most women aren’t really into that

That’s why you can find suits everywhere

Equality and stereotypes aren’t about trying to make everything the same. Women and men both seem to be attracted to different things, and so the market dictates that

Want an example? Go to the gay section of a sex website/store and you’ll find plenty of sexy underwear choices.

The truth is, if your at the point where a woman’s wants to see yoir underwear, she’s already into you. Something Lacey or frilly won’t add to that

Dubai & Nottingham

I asked a FB recently about this as i came to same conclusion not much about and I just assumed white cK or Levi’s boxers etc are the best and what women liked so I just buy them. What she showed me was kinda odd, like a mix of adventure / functional and fetish.

Edinburgh (She/Her)

I would add that men get a bum deal in underwear and clothing department.

Stereo typically you have socks, briefs/boxers, trouser/Jean, shirt/ t shirt, jumper/jacket.

Women get to full range shapes and the colours of the rainbow.

Only those men on the fringes explore, the rock, goth, lgbt etc.

Men. Be free. Be free to express yourself outside of the box.

There is a wonderful world of shape and colour there for you. If you let yourself be free...
