I was a beautiful lad then one day the pimples came. Very badly.

I have to say that between the ages of 14 and 21 I was subjec to a lot of abuse and probably even job rejection.

Then came the weight issues and poor mental health.

In this era of reconciliation I forgive none of the cunts who made my life difficult and often unpleasant. I’m sure the vast majority probably feel much the same as they did then.

My point is I’m sure many of us were bullied by smug idiots in the past and maybe still are. Hurt though is human and not the preserve of a few.

It still happens, especially when someone says no.

Hope it made you stronger.

My main 'bully' during school is currently in jail. Is that karma?

Many of the things I was bullied for as a teenager are things people value in me as an adult. Social pressures of school are so incredibly one dimensional.

Very true. Being bullied for daring to be nice for example.

I look at kids from out local school and often think how can youngsters be so cruel at times?

A reflection of their parents is the reason.

For me it was for wanting to learn and being kinda silly and dorky.

I think there's many complicated reasons for why. Some grow out of it, some never do unfortunately.
