I remember as a lad, going out on a Friday night looking to catch the beaver to bring back home, but because of modern man, the beaver is nearly extinct

So I say, let's have a national bring back the beaver crusade, so our grandchildren can enjoy what I and may others have enjoyed

I've always had a soft spot for the beaver on account of being a bit of an eager beaver myself. Let's hope my son and grandson are a chip off the old block. Here's to all the other eager beavers on here.??

I'm sure when you were a lad, that your first experience of any sort involved the Great British Beaver, and now it's nonsense

Well just like love hearts has made a comeback, so I wish for the Great British Beaver to make a reappearance

My fab frieni 'Cherry Onatop' told me it was a thread that I had posted before that has made her decided to harvest her own Colony of beavers
