"I love the way Cameron blames Labor for the country's debt crisis but blames the problems in Europe for causing the countries current problems, plus Labor ofcourse. The real problem ofcourse is the Banks that corruptly caused the financial problems we all have today, plus many governments going all the way back to Thatchers time" I love the way Labour supporters ALWAYS manage to get right back to Thatcher when looking for someome to blame today's problems on. She was in power OVER TWENTY YEARS AGO - get over it! The Labour Party screwed this country up all by themselves. They should have regulated the Banks but didn't (because they didn't understand the banking system the way rich folk do ) and it was Tony B.LIAR who took us into an illegal war in Iraq don't forget, which cost us £££BILLIONS we could ill afford but because he nor Brown knew the true state of the nation's finances they couldn't possibly know we didn't have a pot to piss in let alone enough cash to fight a war we should never have got involved in. But hey, it was Thatcher's fault, all of that, wasn't it.

"Hold on, Wishy, lets correct a few things..... a) It was Thatcher who deregulated the banks. " Then why didn't Brown re-regulate them if Thatcher's deregulation policy was so wrong? Brown admitted in the televised election debates that he should have and didn't, because of pressure put on him by the banks themselves! That should have set alarm bells ringing in the daft prat's head but he chose instead to bury it in the sand. " b) Blair was the son of Thatcher. " What a ridiculous thing to say. Blair tore up Clause 4 of the Labour Party Rule Book for Silly Buggers as he knew it was the only way to get himself - and Labour - elected. Blair was NEVER a Thatcherite, but I do concede that it's a handy label to put round his neck by Labour supporters who don't like him anymore. " c) All stripes of Tories were complaining that there was TOO MUCH bank regulation and that the government should have stepped out even further. Tories, they expect every one to be as blinkered as they are......" As opposed to what? Believing that borrowing piled upon yet more borrowing leads to financial reward and independence? Anyone who runs a household will know that borrowing money is a fool's errand. Cameron was right: Labour are a party of one notion: Borrow.

Wishy you ought really know that running a national economy is not like running a house. When a household cuts its spending its economy stays the same size but it's spending power rises. When a national economy cuts it's spending the economy shrinks and the nations spending power declines. The Depression of the '30's was caused by a crash and governments cutting spending, leading to a shrinking economy and a vicious circle. Kinda like what's happening now, except that the real cuts have not hit us yet! These incompetent fools will set us back a generation..........

I don't usually get involved with Politics but you need to read how Keynes & Roosevelt dragged the worlds biggest economy out of the worst ever depression-it wasn't by making 100,000s of people jobless, so reducing tax income and massively increasing the welfare burden! Oh and prior to the US banking crisis this country had the second lowest deficit in the world.

" Sure I think the govt could spend our money more wisely, like stopping the colossal waste thrown into the NHS - oh, wait a sec, Cameron's just announced that hasn't he. ." If you mean by cutting 1000s of frontline staff from the countrys biggest employer then you are correct, that's why we have unqualified healthcare workers doing nurses jobs and patient waiting lists increasing daily. However, independent reports say the majority of efficiency savings had already being reached before the last election. It's a great thing 'The Tory Press Machine' but if you read facts you'll see around it!

"Firstly, not everybody believes in Keynesian economics, and secondly, back door? What back door? Labour were the sitting tennants in No.10 and didn't secure enough votes to remain there. They lost the election. They could have formed a coalition with the LibDems but Brown was too stupid to realise it was the only way of keeping his bloody job." You may not believe in Keynesian economics but the facts are there for all to see-it worked for the worst US economic crisis of the 20th century!

My dear old mum has just been diagnosed with gall stones but she was initially told she wouldn't even be seen about a date for an op for three months. She then saw her regular GP who disagreed with that and has sent her to a private clinic for an op later this month. She asked how she could be treated privately under the NHS and was told that restructuring had enabled them to get patients the treatment they needed when they needed it, and that millions had been saved in a waste cutting programme initiated by THIS government. I can see the NHS changing under the Conservatives with a direct benefit to my family, and where I've advocated scrapping the NHS in the past I'm now in favour of a healthcare system if it works as it was originally intended, and that's what Cameron is trying to do. As for unqualified workers doing the jobs of nurses, it does make one wonder if nurses in the past were being asked to do jobs that they were over-qualified to do and if using unqualified staff now to perform routine daily tasks around the wards frees up registered nurses for the essential nursing services they are trained to provide then that has to be a good move. (let's also get our terminology correct here too: unqualified doesn't mean a cleaner being asked to put down her mop for a moment to help redress a patient's wound)

This is the 21st Century and the world is a much smaller place where information can be disseminated in the blink of an eye and a market price affected almost instantly. You cannot buy one's way out of financial trouble, you must live with your means to pay for the things you need. Cameron said today: "borrowing & spending got us into this mess, how on earth will more borrowing & spending get us out of it!" ..and he's 100% right.

Wait for the dismantling of the NHS and then they cut the funds available to GPs to fund such operations. That is the way they sneak these changes in - Mark my words.
