Sharing adult photos of your partner/wife etc without their consent is illegal.

Some need reminding!

A very sick mind would do that if still in relationship.

The amount of men who presume it's M answering then. Sending pictures of wives on a singles profile is worrying.

I tend to ask if their wife knows they are on here, I've yet to have a yes response. So can only presume they don't know their photos are being shared.

I saw a photo on a blokes profile yesterday of a naked woman asleep on a bed. I’m hoping she was just asleep. She clearly didn’t know the photo was being taken so god knows if she knew it was on here. It was uploaded months ago and he wasn’t even in the photo - it got approved though.

This always concerns me when looking at singles profiles. Especially when there are multiple women/men in different photos. Also few veris that don’t account for the numerous women/men.

It would be good to have a feature, where single profiles have to have photo veri process. where by the other members in the photo confirm it’s them, before a post is approved. A bit of extra work and I know fake profiles could bypass this. but just feel it could be an idea, so not to repeat the copper who used his ex wife’s photos on here.

The kind of guy who shares them without consent certainly won’t stop because the relationship ends! It’s a massive abuse of trust and only a sick person would do this.

Of course I report it Lorna it's wrong and not something I'd want to happen to me. I'm not outraged whatsoever, but I do want swinging and sites like this to have a less sleezy image. And in my opinion it's my duty as part of the community to report it.

You and others based on one post have assumed that people who send photos of their partners are doing it without consent when the truth of the matter is you actually have no idea. Also you have no idea if those photos are already in the public domain and if that is the case it is not against the law.

Slightly different though is it if someone wants to smoke something illegal that's on them. Someone sharing a non swinger image on here in messages behind closed doors is involving an innocent party.

I've often wondered why single profiles are allowed pics where other people are in them...personally I think they should only be allowed if the other persons username is on them... otherwise how do they know that consent HAS been given.

Yep. I can only remember 2 men who said the woman was on here. The rest all said it's an ex. So highly unlikely any consent was given.

In almost every case where I see a photo of someone else in a profile their face is obscured which is within the site rules and not against the law.

If someone posted pics of me without permission though, that directly affects me.

As long as the person is identifiable in the picture the yes still illegal. This isn’t just by face. Many factors can play in that.

Example

However, it is important to note that a person’s face is not the only way to identify him or her in a photograph or video. Tattoos, birthmarks, jewelry and articles of clothing can be used to identify a person. Similarly, the background of the image is important. There may be unique items in the image that can be identified, such as unique decorations or artwork, family photos or other distinctive property.

I’m just responding to the thread title and first post; if it’s without permission it is indeed illegal.

I have asked guys who’ve messaged me who they’re showing in their pictures and I don’t recall any ever saying the pics are there with the full knowledge of the lady in them.

Tbh, I’d rather not see action pics even if they are there with full consent.

You only have to pop your head into swingers chat to see that very often there are guys using a single guys profile starting threads looking for others up for some wank chat and pic swapping of (alleged) wives/girlfriends/partners.

Some claim to have her consent when challenged.

We'll probably never know for sure if that's true.

I find it really scuzzy behaviour and I'd quite like threads of that kind to be banned
