You tried a cold as you can manage shower?

this works best before a warm shower, it keeps the pores closed so the insulation doesn't get into your skin.

of course you may know this, but hey ho I'm just trying to help.

Ohhhhhhh did wonder, actually i was gonna offer to scratch it for ya and put soothing cream all over it and rub it in oh so gently.

Have you tried blowing as much off as possible with a hairdryer first before you shower?

This might sound daft, but run the pipe of a vacuum cleaner over where it itches a few times while its turned on, so it actually rubs your skin.

The tiny fibers can get stuck in your skin and itch to hell but running a pipe across it sucks them out.
