Do you talk about sex in one arena (forums / messages) but not the other?

If so, why the difference?

Does it depend on who you are talking to and who instigates it?

I tend to be far more flirty and risque on the forum and more held back with what I say in messages. I don't do sex chat straight off with people as a rule.

I think that's for the same reason as in real life though.

In a pub, chatting with a lot of people in public I'm not looking to get to know anyone better there and then and I'll flirt like a loon and have no filter, because I can get away with it. Guys enjoy it as much as I do and their women don't see me as a threat because of how I look.

In private I'm a lot more shy and quieter, the flirting is far more subtle and I want to get to know the person I'm talking to.

So, same with messages.

The only sex chat I do is talking about experiences that link into the thread topic or the odd pm where again, it's experiences and consequences kinds thing.

So my 'sex chat' is very different from the sex chat others do. It's very formal and matter of fact. Topical not wanton.

But seriously there is a difference between talking about sex and sexy talk. I love being able to talk and read about all sorts here. I flirt a little on the forums. Nearly always with someone I've chatted with privately with.
