your snails. With garlic butter, flambé with some wine and rosemary, with linguine, in a risotto, stewed in red tomato sauce and shallots, in a creamy soup? I can't wait to hear how you had them or cooked them before and if you haven't, which of the above suggestions you would most likely want to try.

Definitely do not have cold sea snails with aioli even if you get told it's a local speciality

Everything from crocodile to locusts taste like chicken; salty chicken, gritty chicken, slippery booger chicken etc

Probably a little like octopus or squid without the fishy sort of taste/smell.

Warm are like garlic prawns.

Cold are like a giant chilled bogey (to be fair I've not eaten a chilled snot so this a bit of an educated guess)

My dad used to like them, my brother had a try and said it was chewy…. Nothing like chicken..

most popular way apparently, certainly over here. My Italian friend tells me they are great with linguine but then she would as tbf you can chuck in anything with pasta.
