The only time I was going to require root canal work I told them to take the tooth out instead.

Ive had it before but this time around it all went better than expected just got the normal aching part to get through before round 2

Ouch! I feel that...though the worst thing I have ever had done was a tumour removed from my gum, when they spliced my gum open they discovered that the tumour had wrapped around a nerve stopping the anaesthetic from working, it was an hour of careful cutting...It traumatised me tbf

I'd had a few teeth problems in my time. Lidocaine is a hospital grade pain killer, which I had when my nostrils sculpted out. It worked a treat.

However you will need to buy some cloves stems and push one on your hurting tooth. This is available in the spice isles, use the whole clove, not the oil or powders.
