Hey, anyone with any links to some good resources to learn about NFT's. Have some time off and eager to learn about it.

I know the majority think it's a giant ponzi scheme or that it's not real, but the small minority who have an interest in it, I owild be grateful for some pointers.

TIA

My largest issue with them is the environmental impact they have. Might be worth a read up on that side of things too, assuming you haven't already.

Have a look at the Folding Ideas YouTube channel. Their most recent video is about NFT's, Blockchain, Bitcoin etc... If you're planning to get into it, may as well go into it with your eyes wide open.

For me, some of the concepts are really cool.

The idea that an artist can sell you an nft which includes exclusive content, tickets etc and they get all the proceeds will change the arts, music industry forever. I'd imagine most industries are exploring the idea of how they could involve nft in their trades!

The downside as the posts above have indicated is the cost to the environment. Cold places like Iceland and Siberia seem to be an area where companies are looking to mine NFT's.

Non fungible tokens

Using Blockchain tech to create an individual digital "product" which can be traded. At the moment it's use is fairly limited but it might have more far reaching uses in the future
