"Posting this comment so you dont feel like a loner." That made me laugh - good one! I have a theory that for every 10 times you help someone out when they are up dhit cheek / no paddle, you will get a good gesture returned... Eg... I cycle loads and often help someone out with a puncture of mechanical failure or carry a can of fuel in the car and always stop to help someone broken down. Unfortunately my theory has yet to ever be proven but it's not about that - it's about helping if you can and that counts so well done!

"Coming out of Sainsburys I saw an elderly lady a bit stressed out with a flat tyre. 30 minutes later, I put on her spare wheel and she insisted on giving me a trifle (from her shopping). A random, unrequested but wonderful reward. What good deed have you done which made you feel warm inside?" I think that is a lovely story - and just hope you like trifle? Well done!

"I help out in a soup kitchen for homeless people. They're abusive, aggressive and ungrateful but I find it very rewarding personally." Good for you. I bet they remember you when life is less chaotic and some will look forward to seeing you even now.

"I'm always helping people, that's just how I am. Not that I want anybody to say ooh aren't you a nice lad.....like I say it's just how I am. I can't stand to sit and watch someone struggle with something." Could you pop down and help with the lights in my shower. I can't reach and have been struggling for ages.

I think its totallu unacceptable to keey an old lady waiting 30 minutes to change the spare wheel over and if you continue to take as much time in future then you'll get branded as a serial timewaster

"Most folk think that you have an ulterior motive if you help someone though. The other week I was sat in burger king with a few mates about as far away from the door as I could be and a young mum with the biggest pushchair ive ever seen was stood talking to a guy who was sat stuffing his face. She said goodbye and proceeded to have a carry on with the doors trying to open both and get said enormous baby carrying contraption (honestly, it looked like it should have had a horse pulling it) through. Now not one person, including the gorilla she had been conversing with, stood up to help. So I did. Got up and held the doors for her do she could get out. As I returned to my meal the gorilla shot me a look of discontent as did just about everyone else in the place and one of my mates said "you only did that cos you wanted to bang her"! Yeah, cos she's gonna jump straight on my cock cos I held the doors open for her She was fit though " Maybe the gorilla was the last to hold open a door for her and that's how the enormous baby contraption came to be Seriously, I agree with you - people do think there is an ulterior motive. Very sad.

"Mine was last week when I helped an old lady who fell in the road and I took her home and been to check on her since. The following day, I helped an old man in a supermarket at the self scan checkouts and packed his bags for him. Then as I've not been in that supermarket before, I went out a different exit, and couldn't find my car No one helped me " I would have, but I'll admit to having an ulterior motive for that
