Could you ditch your Smart Phone and go back to a basic Nokia?

Not a chance. Smartphones have a lot of flaws but they’ve made life so much easier in general. Instant access to information, keeping in contact with people, buying stuff online and fab of course

I could, but I would also need to carry several other devices that I currently use my phone for.

It would appear that 90% of the U.K. adult population have a smart phone and they spend on average 4.8 hours a day on them.

Out of interest I am not a user of smart phones, seem to cope ok with my 12yr old Nokia

I have 282 apps on my phone

Admittedly I could drop some of them... that still leaves a lot of other devices I'd need to carry around instead.

No I don't think I could, but I do sometimes switch off my phone as I get tired of all the constant notifications, messages etc. I think I had more peace at home before the days of a smartphone.

How do you organise meets without WhatsApp and KiK? Carrier pigeons?

Never been a problem and I have been on here for 9 years.

No because its so much more than my phone. I'm not using it constantly,I have most notifications switched off and it's always on silent so I don't find it intrusive and ignore it a lot of the time. It's useful though whereas my old Nokia was crap

I'm afraid Snake doesn't cut the mustard these days and the pictures on fab just wouldn't be as good as a series of black dots.

I loved my Nokia 3310, because of the durability and the sound quality, I could have a phone call in night club on it. But when it comes to taking photos and videos when I quickly need to, check emails or listen to music, it's my smartphone that takes the lead.

I probably could. You can do anything given enough time so giving it up would be hard at first but I'd just get used to it
