Have any of the ladies here tried any erectile dysfunction medicine that is aimed at men? If so, what effect did it have on you?

I can never understand why anyone would want to ‘try’ medication they haven’t been prescribed just to ‘see’ what the effect is.

It wasn’t designed for females to take and actually, erectile dysfunction medication was an accident. It was developed for a heart condition

It gave them a hard vagina.

It increases blood flow to the penis…

No penis… no erection.

Surely your post answers your own question. Why try a medicine that wasn't prescribed? Because you may just find that a heart medication gives you a raging hard-on?

I have heard (but don't know any women that have tried) that viagra and the like works for women too. It works by dilating blood vessels thus increasing flow. In the c event of sexual arousal for both men and women there is increased flow to the genitals which viagra will magnify.

As you say though, taking drugs without prescription can be risky.

Yes, read that some women have tried, with the effect of the clitoris swelling and becoming more sensitive.

Just wondered if anyone here had tried.

Hello Mr!

That was in a controlled environment and closely monitored, not a random ‘hey let’s take this blue pill that wasn’t designed for females to take and see what happens’

I’d consider that irresponsible with ANY medication not specifically prescribed.

Sorry I will get my coat.

Oh go on. Try it then tell me the effects. If will help me to continue with my highly paid research work for Sydney university. The contract is up soon and I need a scoop.

There has been medical research for viagra with sexual dysfunction issues. Mixed results.

Also use for treatment of raynaud’s I read recently in men and women.

Off label use of medicines is very common and to be entirely rational most people do it to some degree with non prescription medicines all the time. Essentially self diagnosing the issue and taking a self selected pain killer or ointment or whatever other medical treatment is available without prescription.

Men use viagra and cialis off label as sexual aids to having sex more than once in a ‘session’. Very common on the bi and gay scene. Viagra is now available without prescription so now falls into the category of many medicines who’s use and need is largely self defined. Buyer beware!

Off label for use for women sounds like a plausible experiment for people that are into that but you would need to do your homework.

People use alcohol and many use class A and that stinky stuff in a little glass bottle (cannot use the word it blocks it) to aid sex so the use of chemicals is and always has been common place. Personally I’m 100% clean and sober in all things.

Jesus! Don’t ever let anyone trust you to be their “off label” as you call it, medical advisor!! Our product patent and safety measures doesn’t allow “off label’ medication to be sold or prescribed. No licence, no sale! And as for experimenting…. why would you!!

Yes. But it’s also used as treatment for low blood pressure I believe.

However, I also remember ‘Richard and Judy’ both trying it and reporting back on GMB (or whatever their show was called).
