Which ones do ya like, Fabsters?

I’ve got a few, most of which I’ll tactically mention later or tomorrow when this thread is floundering on page 2 or 3 to bounce it back to the top, but for now I’ll start with cut grass as it reminds me of Summer.

Come on then you crazy lot, spill …

Freshly cut grass, even better if it is fields full cut for haymaking and a warm evening. Honeysuckle, real lavender when squeezed between your fingers, baby powder.

Anything lemon that isn't edible. Lemon floor cleaner etc.

I must ask here though, I remember a tree/huge tree sized bush in the school playground. It was a sort of evergreen but with fanned out "leaves" that were more like fluffy pineneedles - all I could smell from it was phlegm! I know, such a weird weird thing. Anyone care to shed some light please?

"The smell after the rain when it was hot and dry for a while in the summer."

Ahhh very evocative smell that, takes me back to cycling down a tarmac lane towards the woods in my village as a kiddie just as a brief shower arrived on an otherwise hot Summers day.. it’s funny how a simple smell can instantly transport your mind back to a time and place many, many years ago!

"Aviation Fuel

Reminds you of holidays ?"

Reminds me of school holidays, taking the bus to the airport and hanging out with friends

Standing at the end of the runway, waiting for the planes to turn onto the runway

When they turned you got a whack of heat off the engines and lungs filled with kerosene fumes

Planes are a llot 'cleaner' these days, so it's not quite the same

Plus, I don’t think they allow under 18s on the runway anymore. ...unless accompanied by a responsible kerosine loving adult.

Babies heads. I need to stop myself from getting the jail when I see a newborn. Just want to wander over and sniff their wee nut. It's like a drug.

Freshly made scones.

The smell from Mr when I nuzzle into his neck.
