Not chased and possibly not celebrities but I did spend an awful lot of time hanging around the gates of Silverstone when the f1 testing sessions were on collecting autographs from the drivers.

Davis coulthard still has a special place in my heart

Lady Di visited my school once (..well, she weren't likely to do it twice!)..

Barely got to see her, I just remember a flash of heavy make-up, and a bunch of us kids chasing her limo as she was driven away..

F**k knows why, I didn't idolise her even a little

True story. Our head told us Jimmy Savile was on a local marathon and would run past our school as we left that evening.

Sure enough he came past with a small entourage and a mob of us schoolboys ran for a while with him.

If we’d known the truth we’d have kicked the shit out of him!

Rolf Harris came to our school and painted a F Off huge mural that was hung in the main lobby for years, I’m guessing it’s gone now!
