Correct Diamonds. PIP they're calling it, I think. The upshot is unless you are clinically dead, you work or starve.

As a parent of a child who receives dla at the highest rate. If it were to be cut my daughter's life would be seriously affected.

Don't know why people seem to think it is an easy benefit to get. You have to have serious medical backing to get it. My daughter has just turned 16 and while awarded it for life she has just had to reapply. And under new rules she may not get it.

Now she has serious mental and physical issues and is actually very difficult to look after. So why should she suffer because the disabled are an easy target.

Even if you get dla for life or indefinate you will still have to reapply for PIP

Yes which is a pain as currently having to reapply anyway.

It's to be honest kicking the most needy.

I mean no offence to you or your daughter at all Cali, so please take that into account when I say, it is not what I consider an easy cut, it does however cut out a number of people who claim this who are actually not entitled to it.

I know it is easily done, I know people who claim it for their children, when really they should not.

However I do not disbelief your case, as I do not know your personally, so I have every belief that you and your daughter will be fine.

Again.

Most needy and least able to defend themselves.

It won't even save them much as the knock-on effects such as increased costs elsewhere, such as hospital care, haven't been considered.

Benefit fraud is already incredibly low.
