What do people think of meeting for drinks and chats but no play?

Personally we can't see the point of meeting many times for drinks if there is no play. it could be that we don't have a lot of free time. This is not the same as the first time we meet a couple which is a meet and chat, then play another time if we are all happy.

What do you think?

Depends on the interaction and sort of relationship you have with who you are meeting. some like the pure play side and others like the full social side. In truth it depends how interesting they are as individuals and also how much you lust over them physically. I do personally like the interaction side all round but hell i am a fussy bugger

We usually get to know people via phone and messages first,so tend to play on first meet.

Very rarely will we meet for a drink and chat first,as you said,we don't have that much free time together for socialising.

I think from my own point of view I like to meet and chat and have a social drink. This is because ive been duped a few times with guys showing pics that are 20 years out of date!

I personally think for me one social meeting is enough, I know within a few minutes if things will progress, but, sometimes things just happen so you get a good social time and a good playtime!

Any more meetings than one and I would be kind of wondering whats going on, you either like each other or you dont

To be honest i cant see the point ..this is a swinging site and we are all here to havelook for sex...if i want to go out for drinks or a meal i have real life friends we can do that with, we can usually tell by pics, chatting and camming on msn beofore meeting if we are going to get on with someone.

we have no social side to our lifestyle at all , we play within 5 minutes of the guy arriving and there almost putting there socks on as they walk back to there car

it seems to suit a lot of people as im sure they are not that interested in talking for 3 hours about the rise in crude oil prices over the last 20 years , or if it might rain next friday week , or even if they like the new flock wallpaper in the living room

I think it doesn't matter if a couple wants to fuck in 60 seconds or wanted to meet once socially and then play another time or just meet like minded people to go out and socialise with.... as long as they are honest about what they want when they approach (or are approached by) others.

Don't people sometimes form friendships on the forums with people they have no intention of fucking (but happen to get on with)?

We noticed a few few profiles, and the resulting emails, they want to meet for drinks, meals and become social friends too...

We don't want them to use us just for evenings out, out free time is short and we have plenty of people who we do that with, if you know what we mean

we like to email, meet for a chat, then meet and play. Some seem to indicate they are looking for social evenings out, not adult cubs, but pubs and restaurants.

We can see friendship developing with fellow playmates, but we think our playing and every day life are separate.

There are no set in stone rules regarding this.

If someone enjoys fast and purely sexual meets then that is fine. Likewise if someone enjoys social and no play that is also fine- many people from this lifestyle are open minded and bloody fun to hang out with thus make grand friends

We nearly always arrange to meet for a drink first to see if we click although we do sometimes play on the first meet. Then again we have met people who we dont fancy sexually but get on really well with and have become great friends and who we socialise with. To us the social side as an added bonus and dont believe anyone should feel pressured to play with everyone they meet but everyone is different.

we use the chat rooms for the soical side of the meet and if not comfortable talking on phone or msn we wont be meeting.

so if do meet we play as have very limited time due to family and business commetents. but a coffee before hand to relax the people is not out of the question as they may have driven a while. but we just love to play with new people and it rare that we get the chance so we go for it

For me the social meet up for a drink is paramount, I learnt that early on and I have to say despite chatting online and on the phone if I physically dont fancy them then it wont go any further. For me, I guess its a "get out" clause as I always say that I have to meet socially first.

Like I said earlier, the pics that were 20 years out of date did it for me!

I prefer to meet some socially first, but only to confirm in the flesh if I am attracted to that person. If there's no attraction then no harm done.

Personally I dont see the point in being on here just to socialise, thats what facebooks for surely? But each to their own I guess.

I think it's just a case of honesty - if people want the social side as well as or rather than the playing aspect then as long as they're upfront about that its not a problem. Its the fibbing that causes the issues

I like to meet socially first then if all goes well play will take place the second meeting. And if you meet people on a regular basis you do become friends and its great to do social stuff as well as have fun with them!
