What is a stronger emotion? Lust or Anger?

I think anger. Lust can turn into anger quickly whereas anger doesn't necessarily have any reason to turn into lust.

I see way more anger than I see lust. I see anger expressed more forcefully and more often too. I suppose individuals feel things differently but in general anger seems to win out

Both are strong energies for sure. I’m thinking whether an angry energy can be transmuted into a lustful energy?

Depends on the person.

For me, Lust is stronger - I don't get angry very easily, and I calm down pretty quickly when I do.

For me personally lust is a bigger driver than anger. I rarely feel proper anger. As a result of having a very low opinion of humanity my more usual emotion is resignation. I've never driven any distance to satisfy anger but traveled quite some way to deal with lust

"Lust is fleeting, anger is forever."

It isn't always easy I know but to hold on to a negative emotion for ever is very unhealthy. I'd far rather work to fan the frames of my lust for someone than stoke my anger.

Is fear the common denominator of both lust and anger?

Fear of one’s Ego being dented or crushed (a perception) can lead to anger.

Fear of missing out on a situation or a person giving us happiness leads to lust.

I think that's what hatefucking is

Which doesn't seem healthy to me

In a town full of colours

Lust

Anger burns out fast and furious where lust can smoulder for ages.

I'd say hate was the negative equivalent instead of anger

Most definitely lust - my anger dissipates with thought and reason. Where my lust can last for hours.

Subjective. Over the years, I have developed the skill to stay patient. It's really hard to piss me off. Lust on the other hand...

Anger is a quick flash. Lust bubbles away quietly.

All good answers.

Just by scanning over the answers so far, would it be fair to say that:

For women - anger is the more potent emotion?

For men - lust is the monster?

OBVIOUSLY- this is a generalisation. Something to do with the left and right brains perhaps?
