Why do men need to get to a point when they will tell you ‘I love you’ and also make you truly feel that… and you’re convinced and believed it, and just easily decide to stop seeing each other after over 8 months… just like that. You’re disposed. We’re all those times, words, acts and moments all just lies?

I felt manipulated. I really thought we love each other and also vocally have the best satisfying sex ever, but why would he still want to see other people.

I just wish he didn’t crossed the line between love and sex.

We're all just collateral damage in someone's battle with themselves...

We're all just travellers in someone's journey of self discovery, just like how other people are in our journey...some stay until the end, others might get off at the next stop.

They might very well have loved you at some point. The biggest misunderstanding about romantic love is that it lasts forever once you found it...absolutely not, it's yours (and your partner's) responsibility to constantly strengthen that bond, and sometimes no matter what you do, it's just not enough.

So please stop with the "why do men...", it's just your experience with men

A truism but to an extent love in early stages is easy to kid yourself into with the New Relationship Buzz - you may not know the whole person but enjoy their company, their look, the sex, the conversation, the thinking about them - you see no negatives ... Then ... suddenly you do - something shifts and it collapses like a house of cards. What happens next is individual - run to the hills or move through it.

It doesn't mean it was lies or trickery or you/he were not worth it. Just it didn't work out.

This is just observation. Only advice is don't rewrite what happened to hate him or yourself as a way of getting through it. Keep the good memories, accept and forgive the bad, move on a better person.

Sorry to hear about your problem.

They probably weren't lies.

In every relationship I've ever had, I have loved and been loved, and yet they ended all the same. Love isn't always eternal, most of the time it disappears just as mysteriously as it arrived.

Its tough when it goes, particularly when you're the one who gets dumped, but you'll get by with a little time.
