I've always been a natural brunette but really fancy going a vibrant auburn.

I have an appointment in half an hour, shall I just bite the bullet and go for it?

I'm meeting a friend on Friday though and don't want to look naff.

What shall I do?

Do you make drastic changes to your appearance?

I change my hair colour pretty much every month. It's not permanent and if you hate you csn always dye it black. Go for it.

I'd say yes - auburn would really suit you (as much as you look fantastic as a natural brunette). Go for it and enjoy, you're going to look beautiful.

I don't really make any changes to my appearance but I've got the monthly itch to dye my hair. Wear makeup. All the usual.

Well, I plucked up my courage to go auburn. I went to the hairdressers, showed her a picture of the colour and cut I wanted. She suggested rather than going all over auburn she would do an auburn balayage, which I actually really liked that sound of.

Over 2 hours later and £60 down, and my hair looks.....

Hardly any friggin different

Yes, sometimes I go for clean shaven face... Apparently I then look like a freshly peeled potato

I did, and it didn't look much different

It was a new hairdresser as my other one has broken her arm, I won't be going back to her.
