I feel habits do relax to a certain extent but I think that is good as the more relaxed with people I am the more likely I am to try new things also.

Shaving for one .

I’m perfectly happy to hang around in my fleecy pj’s, no make up , snuggling up under the heated throw like the old lady that I am. But toilet stuff , burping , “fluffing” and shaving are nonos for me… I keep those private

I don't think normal bodily functions are anything to be embarrassed about in the first place. I'd much rather someone farted or burped than be curled up in pain to save face. I've done that once, I was in agony for hours, I'd never do it again. If it happens you say excuse me and move on. There's very little that bothers me unless you're having a poo, the shut the door!
