I would 100% be up for meeting up with someone essentially for a brew, abit of casual flirting and a natter but knowing it can't go any further unless Mr P gets involved (he works crazy long hours) during the day i'm just stuck indoors and after the last few years of covid shite i've turned into a hermit that is incredibly lonely (sad sack alert I know).

Does anyone else have these kind of pals? I would love nothing more than to gain some new friends that I could meet up with during the day knowing theres no pressure to take things further.

Granted fab isnt the best place to make new friends without the promise of sex

You'd think fab isn't the place to find these friends, but actually my closest friends were found here.

If I were closer I'd happily meet up for just what you've described, and I know there are a lot of people (mostly on the forum) who feel the same, hopefully some will be closer.

I've made friends with a few ladies on here without it going further, I think if someone sounds fun then just be honest with them and explain what you're looking for and your situation and I think you should get some good feedback

It's pants isnt it, i'm all about the connection to be fair, I love chatting to new people especially fab people that you can have no holes barred chat with. All my mates are vanilla women that have super busy lives so I rarely get to see them.

Oh love, I don’t think Fab would be the right place for what you’re looking for. I mean, there are loads of lovely people on here. But you sound a little bit vulnerable at the moment, and I’d hate to think of you being taken advantage of. I’d try some different avenues for actual friendship x

Their are loads of people on here whom enjoy the social aspects more than just sexual to be in the same mind set.

Away from here my friends we bounce off each other their not on here but at times when we both want to just take things further we do then carry on as friends

But im a full on pervert that loves abit of flirting I just don't want to take my clothes off. All my mates were lads when I was younger but evetyone grew up and made families of their own (including me).

We don't have anyone that can babysit the kids so we can have a night off and Mr P works through the day so im just sat at home twiddling my thumbs whilst the kids are at school and it gets crazy lonely, it would be nice to have someone to chat to that lives this craxy lifestyle too.

I've been on fab for about 8 years and I've made some amazing friends. Some I've had sex with some I haven't. Many I still chat regularly to after all this time and have the occasionally coffee/drink.

There are genuinely lovely people on fab it's just finding them.

Max and I were just friends for over a year before anything else happened. We'd go for walks during COVID and chat most days.

I have sexual friends and friendzone friends. No inbetweens

I've tried being friends with someone with both of us on a maybe and it ended badly. We both need stricter boundaries.

There are lots of people on here who are looking for non sexual companionship and I've made some friends and had some lovely evenings with them. But it only works with concrete boundaries for me.

I'm expecting/hoping to make more friends on here than anything else really. It's hard being poly and not being able to talk about it to my core friends group. We aren't ready to be outed. So meeting like minded people to talk and chat with was my main expectation.

Hope you find what you're after. I'm finding interaction on the forums a bit helpful while I look.

I could easily meet up with people with the promise of no sex so long as its on a one to one basis. I don't have any hidden agendas and I'm generally a chatty person but I do get a bit anxious in a group. My only concern is the discretion of others as its an unknown!

I think you can make friends on here you need to clear about it and then there’s no confusion. Look at socials or even message people who you think you’d like to be friends with, you never know.
