Somewhere In The Ether…

….it turned to absolute shit at the end!

You know the sort; you’re really enjoying a TV series throughout but the payoff….well, it’s a right load of old crap frankly.

Good folks; Please list me series which succeeded in getting you absolutely hooked, only to subsequently leave you feeling utterly deflated and as though you wasted hours worth of your investment

Dexter.

I don't know how and why they decided to fuck it up so spectacularly but they succeeded.

Do you mean the original series ending or New Blood? (Or both?)

I must admit, I disliked both endings

I’ll post the obvious one for obvious reasons: Game of thrones.

I've not yet reached the ending of New Blood, I found Harrison too irritating so switched off and read instead. I shall mentally prepare myself to be disappointed once more, thank you for the warning.

I heard that was even criticised by cast members who were shocked when they read the script

I will say it was perhaps the logical way to end it but it wouldn’t have been the way I would have chosen, given the choice (no spoilers there )

Line of Duty - I personally think it could’ve ended better. Not sure if that was the end and there is another series being made…

Buckells…..bloody Buckells?!!!

There’s no official word yet but some of the cast have insinuated that it might not be the end of the line just yet….

Definitely Lost. Made even worse by the fact that this was pre netflix/box sets so invested years watching it only for it to make no sense at all and leave so many questions

They killed Alcide in the most pathetic way possible and then Bill in the finale. I was not best pleased to put it mildly

Somewhere In The Ether…

The X-Files. Amazing in its time but the final series and especially the finale of its original run was a major let down.

The two revival series were very much below par bar for one or two episodes and yet again, it ended on a low to add salt to the wounds

Peaky blinders, prison break, sons of anarchy, money heist. Orange is the new black, misfits, stranger things... Maybe this says more about my attention span rather than a good storyline/cast/script. Or the fact I have to much time on my hands?

But, really enjoyed Ozarks, sex education, sex life, Bridgeton, breaking bad, squid game, The crown, GOT,

The reason Lost went so bad is cause it was only supposed to be two or three seasons originally, but it was so popular they stretched it out over six which failed.....

"We really enjoyed merlin till the last series .."

Absolutely agree 100%!!!

The final series concluded in such a horribly, rushed feeling manner.

The reason apparently was due to Colin Morgan wanting to quit the show resulting in the makers having to cobble everything together in a seeming blind panic
