I had them for years. Turned out for me it was orange juice..... I miss it.

If I get one then Lysine along with the pain killers.

Lie down in a dark room. Take a painkiller beforehand. You might get visual 'aura' first, this passes and then the pain comes on.

Magnesium? How does this help - I'd be open to trying it as had migraines for a long time.

I read an article about the benefits of magnesium for sleep and tiredness and in there was a mention of preventing migraines.

I thought I’d give it a go and try for a month.

It stopped them all.

My migraines manifest as a patch of distorted vision in my left eye usually, followed by 48 hours of pain.

Lysine is now being used as an ingredient in migraine pain relief. Taking it as a supplement with pain relief really helps.
