Brizzle

We are travelling from Bristol & looking for a budget hotel within an hours drive from London. Preferably close to the M4/M25 it needs to have parking for a van.

Normally we drive there & back in the day, but this time we have an early appointment in London so want to be a bit closer.

We’ve had a quick Google search but wondered if anybody had any suggestions?

Thanks.

I use Holiday Inns quite often, and using a van as well,

Most of them outside the M25 have free parking, in the city centre charge extra for parking and have smaller car parks

Is it a new or old van ? Just wondering if there there any restrictions on driving older emissions into the city?

One option could be to park at a tube station car park and then tube it into London...if you're coming from Bristol, places near Heathrow. Eg Uxbridge would be an option

Paradise, Herts

When you go on booking.com there’s an option in filters to tick on site parking.

When I go to London I usually park at whetstone as there is a big car park and it’s not too expensive overnight x

Liverpool

The last time I stayed in London I stayed in a Premier Inn in Watford that had a decent size car park for £5 a day.

Renaissance Heathrow has outdoor parking, but it is chargeable

If you're staying, it's half price

Iirc it's about £15 per 24 hours

Derby

Travelodge in Kings Cross has a car park that's free for guests and can accommodate fine. We use it regularly when playing London.

Pembrokeshire

Waltham Abbey Premier Inn would be my advice.

Its out of London enough to be quiet peaceful but close enough to get into London fairly easily.

There is also one in Brimsdown, Enfield but it isn't as nice as the WA one.
