The Angel at Hetton is great, La casita does Andalusian food, The Bull on A59 great pub and restaurant but of course all depends what you like. Have a read on those and see what you think.

They all look rather nice but get a pie from the butchers next to the old fashioned sweet shop and sit at the side of the canal!
