What the people who don't browse the forums actually log in here to do? Other than answering messages or uploading a pic, it's literally all I do on here

Same here. I always come straight to the forums. I dip into the chat rooms now and again and have a laugh with people on there but it goes so fast and I can’t keep up!

Same... always in forums now. Takes 30seconds to check messages as I get so little. So spend all time in here

Before lock downs I never used the forums

Did try them way back in like 2014 but my spelling didn’t go over well

So stoped posting

Before lock downs all I would use fab for was meeting people and uploading pics

I come on and check the vile messages I receive, can guarantee in my area the majority of fab members are men that can’t get a f**k in the real world! They aren’t polite either when turned down

Answer to that is, to meet people, amazingly enough. Reality for me is, if i leave myself online then vastly more people will view my profile than when i’m offline. During the day i rarely look at the site unless i get a ping for a message notification. People quite obviously look far more at online profiles. Simple really.

If the amount of private repsonses I get on here is anything to go by, there seems to be a lot of people on here who read forums, but don't actually post anything. Before I started exploring forums during the lockdown I never received a fraction of the attention, or positive interest that get now, and even requests for my opinions or advice, especially at national level, from people I am quite likely to arrange to meet up with in the future because I seem to tick their boxes, and they mine. Wish I'd discovered the advantages of forum's years ago when things were less restrictive.

There is so much more to FAB than just the forums.

Profiles. Images. Videos. Searches. Club section. Messaging. Chat rooms and forums.

Alot of people do not realise the amount information that is stored and generated on this site.

Why do you think Sydney Uni was interested...

For the first 3 years of being on fab I didn't do anything other than chat via my DM's, then I found the forums and enjoy the interactions with peeps from here more.

They send hundreds of unsolicited dick pics and one line messages that prompt other people to come on the forums and complain about it, thus creating discourse for the forum users. It’s a symbiotic relationship, we need them…..
