Romance Through Swinging

Has anyone else found romance through swinging?

We did and it took us both by surprise in that we had both been active in the lifestyle for a number of years and never a glimmer of it before, it's always just been fun. Then out if nowhere it hit us both and we just had to be together.

Interested to hear other people's experiences and any advice.

Yes, i met jay in an adult cinema nearly seven years ago and weve been together nearly 6. Neither of us where looking for anything, in fact id gone with someone else that day. We got chatting and i just thought he was a nice friendly person.

He wooed me for a year and then we got together and its the best thing that ever happened to me

I actively discourage romance. For me it kills the sex. I'm better off alone, single and swinging. But it is nice to hear that others find happiness that way.

Met my gorgeous girl from here and am both very lucky and very happy.

Have had a fair few issues over others being jealous and pointing out allll my flaws to her, but that's just made her love me a it more and shown some people for who they really are.

As they say - sometimes u find something u didn't even know u wanted.

We met through fab and been together 2 and a half years

So yes it does work although we took a break from the scene to establish our relationship

We love the scene but love each other way more its just an added bonus to our relationship

Same here...not actively looking for it or expecting it, but if it was to come along I would at least consider it - as scary as that may be!

We met on another site 5 years ago, we also had a lot of bitchiness from a few people we had been playing with before we met.

When we moved in together we took a break to establish our relationship. Have been married 18 months. Neither of us were looking for romance as we had both recently separated from our other halves but we are very happy

We are still deciding where we are going with the whole swinging thing so it's early days yet but it feels good and we are both looking forward to the voyage of discovery. Not experienced any negative vibes yet from people we have had fun with, lets hope it stays that way.

I met the OH through FAB 18 months ago. Both of us were active swingers before we met and neither of us was looking for romance. When we met, it was so electric that we both realised there was more than sex happening. Here we are 18 months later, living together, planning on buying a home together and very very happy.

Met the other half through another website and were FB's for 7 months before deciding to be a couple. Been together for 4 1/2 years now.

In some ways I wish I hadnt met him through the scene as I know some of the people he has played with and I wouldnt touch them with a bargepole!

Thanks for the lovely comments. I (fruit) had hidden myself away from any relationships for self preservation so this is all massively surprising to me. We are as fusion has said going to stay in the scene just as a couple and see when we are ready to take our next step.

I never ever thought I would meet someone that ticked my boxes so am still amazed this lovely man is a part of my life.

Cant wait to share more fun and frolics together xx

Im not looking for a relationship, but if im going to be honest this is the last place id look for someone to settle down with

In the 11 years of doing this i have only felt i was getting to close to one person, im usually a quite level headed person but i am human and i dont know what it was about him but we just seemed to get on so well, but as soon as i felt the way i was feeling wasnt acceptable i stopped meeting him, was quite hard to do as he kept mailing me asking what he had done wrong and why i didnt want to met agian and if i was ok, i just told him i felt it was time to move on and stopped replying to his messages and in time he stopped mailing me

I do still think about him, some people just leave a impression in your heart but i know what i did was for the best

I recently thought I had met quite a decent guy on here but how things have changed in 3 months!!!! Deffo will not be doing the nice dinner, romantic couples thing with anyone else on here again nor do I want to 'meet the child'. It just complicates things and makes them bitter and nasty!! We both broke a rule yet I'm the bad person, I have my faults like every human in the world apart from him. I've been nasty to him admittedly women can be vindictive just like his 'new bit' by bad mouthing me to a few in here. But after a good chat with a friend on here what does it matter? I still have my dignity I'm not seeing someone 23 years my junior nor have I ever asked someone to have sex with an animal or mocked them as to the reason why ex partners left. And my real friends in here know me and won't listen to gossip. But very pleased for the few that have met nice partners on here it's amazing clearly I didn't lol xxx

I certainly wasnt looking for a relationship myself. Had been in the past on dating sites but I knew I was going to stay single for the rest if my life and certainly never looked for it on here. I guess he found me. I am very in tune with what I want from a man and able to speak up and say when I realise something is right.

I am not interested whom he has slept with before me so not intrested in that regarless wether I think they were mingers lol......when it comes down to it I have probably had more sexual escapades than him even tho am younger.

I feel its what we do now what is important and plenty of discussion.

I am financially independent, and have passed the age to be thinking about having kids (not that I wanted any in the first place).

I have too much to lose and do not wish to be sponged off. Been there done that and it was not pleasant.

Nowadays, whenever someone says I am a "good catch" I would run as fast as I could.

I am not looking for a meal ticket or a sperm donor, just like-minded genuinely single gents for occasional NSA fun and frolics.

If I like a gent beyond NSA fun, I would let him know.

So far I have yet to meet anyone via FAB that I would like to take to the next stage, maybe except for one.

However, I know I can no longer settle down with just one person as I believe variety really is the spice of life.

My ideal partner would be someone I would call part-time soul-mate.

Someone who has similar social standings as myself, enjoys his independence and freedom, with shared interest(s), and likes to spend some of his free time with me, without wanting to live under each other's skin all the time.

If such a person exists, please apply.

However, I am not holding my breathe!

we are the same ad used to travel from kings lynn to lowestoft every weekend to mine .my son went to his dad easter last year ,i went to ad and i never lefted just felt right,feel like we known each other for years,we getting marred august next year
