But why do single girls and couples get loads of messages on the introductions page on the forums but single guys hardly any?

Isnt that just plain bloody rude when someone is just saying hi my name is....,... And im new to the forums

Nice to know you are welcome to the fab forums and the clicks that are already in place

I never venture into that part of the forum, to be honest. However, I'd be curious to know if it is mostly us single guys that reply to the threads posted by single females and couples?

That would explain why threads by single males introducing themselves don't get any replies.

i dont usually go into that part of the forums but if i did i would say Hi,im sure i always do when, if,i see someone new,most of the people on this one are very welcoming

I am not the one complaining that people don't answer in the introduction section...you are.

As you are not new to the forums and have only answered one introduction, then I would say maybe look at yourself before starting threads complaining of something that you are doing yourself.

Im sorry but who said i have only done 1??? I said 1 lately i dont use the forums as often as most and its nice to see that it shifts so quickly on to the person that raised the subject really mature of you it would be nice if people read what was posted instead of reading what they want to read

So techinally....you are calling people for not doing something and you are not doing the same thing.

If at first you don't succeed, stick around til someone notices.

If you walk into a bar full of people that are strangers, most of which are acquainted with each other, chances are, the first time you walk in, they will ignore you.

Walk in 5,6,7 times and someone will say 'hi' and you take it from there.

Not every one in that group will engage you, not everyone in that group will like you, but the odd one will and that's how friendships begin.

I am not the one starting threads complaining that other people are rude and in cliques because they are not welcoming people, you are.

If I had have started a thread complaining that other people are not making single men welcome I would have made sure I had welcomed people before starting the thread, otherwise I would look a bit cheeky slagging off people when I hadn't done the same thing.

Shouldn't they have more empathy for how their fellow new male is feeling?

If they can't be arsed to say hello to eachother, why the fuck should anyone else?

Firstly I cannot see a thread in the introductions section by a female that has LOADS of replies

Secondly, if what you say is true I believe it's mainly because there is a higher number of single straight males on here so they are more likely to post on a thread by a woman

Thirdly, personally I am unlikely to post a welcome message there because I never go in there

Fourthly (if that's even a word) I think my previous applies to most of us regular posters (or clicks as you might prefer to call us) therefore you will notice that whenever a new person posts here in the lounge introducing themselves, we will always reply because we're nice!

To suggest that we don't welcome people because we're in a click is ridiculous imo

I often pop into the introductions forum and say hi to newbies.

However many of them also post in the lounge, Scotland, and other forums,and get lots of replies there too.

So unless I want a job as an ASDA greeter I'll stick to saying hi in just the one place.

I used to go through the introductions post a lot but it gets boring saying the same thing every time ie why their profile isn't brilliant, what they should/need to say, what's missing etc etc and of course welcome to Fab, rarely do it now

Here's why women often get more replies...

Been in the introduction board today and there is a post from a woman with about 6 replies. Her op was 2 paragraphs long explaining why she was here and that she was looking forward to meeting people etc

There was a post from a guy with 0 replies that simply just said 'help '

Which one is more inviting to reply to????
