Ok, getting to the bottom of this conundrum

There seems to be two camps (depending on whether you wear pants!)

Which camp are you in:

Rebel: Socks on, then pants on,

Or

Cool kid: Pants on, then socks on.

Socks off as early as possible when undressing, with pants last.

When dressing it's always pants first and socks on once I'm in jeans etc.

.........unless I'm in Superman mode, with pants on the outside OBVIOUSLY!

It depends.

Am I wearing long socks and either shoes or boots that are shorter than the socks? - socks first.

Am I wearing thicker socks with walking boots? - pants first.

Am I wearing trainer socks? - doesn't matter which goes on first, although for flexibility it's probably easier to put the socks on before the pants.
