Would having to have photo verification to be a member make the site better ??

Would it stop the fake profiles ?

Yes it would help a bit

But not fool proof as someone could “get a friend” to do it for them but yes it would help loads

It would keep the fakes and creeps that put in that little bit more effort and they are the dangerous ones.

Saying that it's not a big ask that everyone photo verify so not sure why it isn't compulsory

Yeah we set up a couples profile a couple of years ago and we had to verify ourselves by photo

I think you need to be PV or meet verified to use the forum but not to just have a profile.

Nah I had to PV before I could go any further. Might be coz I’d had 114 profiles beforehand though

It isn't compulsory for all to PV. You can filter out non verified people from this page and the site will work for you how you want it to

It would put off certain people from joining. I don't see why those would necessarily be the ones you would want to put off. Some nice people might not want to do it and some arseholes might be perfectly happy doing it. How would it make anything better?

i have said the same thing for a few years now but if there is a way round it the time wasters will soon find it,, i have always said the site should automatically display everyones last 2 verifications, so you can see if the other person actually meets in person or just on a webcam
