On or with your chips?

Are you a cheesy chips person or chips and gravy?

Curious

Let’s hear your weird concoctions.

Chips and salad cream was a fave of mine a few years back.

Mmm chips and salad cream! Thats took me back to my secondary school dinners. I haven't had that for years. No idea why, I used to love it.

Once I get my taste and smell back I'm having it!

Dip them in peppercorn sauce, even without any meat.

Or sometimes I like them on a roll from the chip shop with chippy sauce

It's an Edinburgh thing. Brown sauce mixed with vinegar but we think it's more special than that!

Yorkshire

Don't really have many chips, more like a treat every now and then. If its fish and chips cover with mushy peas and also bit of Vinegar, otherwise drop some baked beans on them. For chips on their own , well a bit of mayonnaise and a bit of ketchup is good but prefer on the side and dip the chip in.

First came across mayo on chips way back at the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa in 1962, very popular over there but unheard of here in U,K. at that time.
