For those that were there, the music was better, the attitude and bands seemed to be nothing like today but what were the best tunes?

Kicking off

Travellers tune by ocean colour scene

Street spirit - radiohead

Master plan and whatever - oasis

Masterplan and whatever are great songs and seriously underrated.

Add in west / east coast rap and was a seriously good time in music

I was there.

Indie music is just as good today as it was then and arguably less mainstream now.

The band’s attitudes were mostly the same as today really.

You sound like one of them really old miserable fucks saying stuff like that.

Let’s not turn our parents just yet!!

"Always thought feeder were under rated"

Remember being at a pub quiz in the Strathclyde Student Union and one of the team names was (need to say it in a Glaswegian accent) ‘theres nobody deeder than the drummer far feeder’ in bad taste yes but a very funny team name.

Fun fact, Steve Coogan's (Alan Partridge and other characters) brother was the lead singer and songwriter for The Mock Turtles

Started writing a list and it got too long
