Ooooh maybe 2017/2018. Used to have to write them on behalf of clients because they couldn't do it themselves.

Probably 3 or so years ago when we had to get the TV aerial replaced. The man who came to do it asked to be paid by cheque even though I offered to do a bank transfer

Every week suppliers are paid by cheque. Less hassle than bacs and they've got payment in their hand. Works great for the small guys.
