I will stick to drinking for a couple of days a month. I just don't enjoy it anymore.

No. To be honest I don’t drink enough for it to make much difference. If I fancy one I have one. Life’s too short to deprive yourself of things you like.

always said if there is something in life that you enjoy as long as you don't go over the barrel so to speak life's too short

I don't drink at all and never understood the attraction but I genuinely don't understand what anyone is trying to prove by just giving it up for a month?

With the never ending rise in the cost of basic living, I shall be doing dry January, February, March, and so on.

Will power?

Check if you are an alcoholic?

Create better habits.. Maybe they will drink less in future

Give your liver a break after what is traditionally a heavy month of excesses?

I'm not as I rarely drink in the house anyway. I used to have a glass of wine most nights but stopped that years ago, I will have a drink if I fancy it but usually just drink when I'm out these days.

Haven't even had a drink to celebrate Christmas and New Year yet so I'm behind anyway ha ha

So January isn't proving to be an issue

I’ve been dry so far but then I haven’t been in a situation were friends are drinking and I have to decline yet, that’s the real test for me.

I don't drink alot so I don't restrict my alcohol consumption.

We were out at the weekend and spent all night saving the Queen.

Maldon and Peterborough

I've had a dry January, which wasn't too difficult as I don't go out much and don't drink at home.

I probably won't have a good drink until the Manchester social in April.
