Had my entire profile stolen 3 times including pics by 3 different guys who were not new to the site and had all been here for a while.

I only found out about 2 of them because someone else recognised my bio and sent me a message to tell me.

The third sent my pics in messages to women and then became abusive when they challenged him as my name was still on the pics.

I reported all of them but I've no idea what happened after that apart from the fact that one of them is still here and posting on the forums.

Mine have been stolen a few times and it's usually other fabbers who let me know. I report the profile and it gets removed.

I've had mine stolen and used by men previously... I only spotted them after i became a site supporter and looked at the 'who has looked at me'

I reported all instances and they were dealt with really quickly... The only irony being that the photo was rejected from my profile originally for being too extreme, but one guy had been using it for 6 months

I've posted on this subject before, I've had pics stolen twice now to my knowledge, first time a guy sent me a message and he actually was using one of my pics as his profile pic.

Second time a guy used one of my pics and sent it to to a local girl friend of mine from fab,she recognised and messaged me .

Initially,I was furious, and then truth be told a little flattered,.

I reported both cases to fab,and they said they would look into it,my best advice would be to watermark your photos.

Yep yesterday some guy used them to send to another guy we had been chatting to. He wanted pics and vids of the guy and offered mine as a "swap" to get his! Luckily the guy let us know but there's nothing we can do as it was through kik. Have reported the profile and messages it but apparently his phone is "disconnected" at the moment.

Feel flattered and violated in equal measure.

Of all the profiles he could have chosen

Some people are lower than low. See my status update for what I think should happen to this person....

Every one of my pics is watermarked. Hence why others challenged the sender and I found out. Even when stealing my bio they didn't even go to the effort of taking my name out of the last paragraph as it was at the time.

I might have been flattered if it hadn't been such a lazy approach and if the messages they were sending to women hadn't been abusive.

Report to admin.

Remove all of your pics and re upload after water marking them.

Don't rely on admin closing their account / banning them. They didn't when it happened to us in the past. Though the pics were removed eventually.

I am of the opinion that users should be IP banned for this and reported to the police, as its illegal to repost or share explicit pics without the owners consent.

On a straight dating site, I not only had my photos stolen, but also an attempt at getting as much personal information out of me for identity theft. I was lucky enough to have a connection in the police who was also using dating sites. His job was ripping computers apart looking for information for case building. He warned me in time that the site in question was being used by scammers to glean as much information as possible from vulnerable individuals about themselves. This is why now I don't do full face photo exchange till after telephone conversation, please or offend, and if it's a couple, also a conversation with the lady, then at least I have a traceable telephone number if anything sinister is going on. I'd advise everyone to take the same approach, and not be sucked in by promises of what might be, because they are not all rough diamonds like me that say it the way it is, but very clever, and charming people looking for the easily led.

I’ve had this happen quite a few times. Brought to my attention by friends but makes you wonder how many go unnoticed. I think admin commit to sorting within 48 hours but they must get hundreds. In my experience if nothing happens in that time report to the site owners and let them know nothing has happened. I’m sure the mods may add to this thread

Never gone looking but have been told a couple of times that our photos were being used elsewhere on Fab. Reported and profiles were removed I think.

Some of our more artistic photos were used on a profile on an erotic literature site. We contact the admin of the site but as far as I can see sod all has been done about it.

To update, the pics have been removed (not sure if it was by them or admin) but the profile is still active with no pics at all. Is it worth confronting them or is that some kind of breach of site rules?
