If they hear dogs on the telly they both take note and one will bark, most interesting was a wildlife programme about wolf cubs and one moved and sat looking at the telly with his ears up as the cubs w_ined and yipped for food..

Yep! My shepweiler does. She barks at other dogs on the telly and looks like she’s about to jump into it!

She watches sheep suspiciously on Countryfile and then does a solitary bark.

She loves a good war film and and a Country and western and doesn’t bark unless a dog makes an appearance.

Also he really dislikes people in wooly hats, but then just permanently wants to be with you. Wasn't going to get another after we lost our lab last year, but he's just what you need

Yup; one of ours hates horses and pretty much all cartoon animals.

And yet we live next to a field full of horses, and it's the other one that doesn't like the live versions and will bark at those. The older one will just let them peer over the wall at him obliviously...

What is a shepweiller. The names they make up nowadays for a mongrel is unbelievable

Our Boston terrier stares intently at wild life programmes. He barks occasionally. The only way to put him off is to pick him up and show him the back of the TV. I guess he thinks any animal that thin is not a threat.
