For the last few weeks I have had someone in my office flirt with me and tonight she tried to kiss me despite having a boyfriend!!! I am not her manager but she is a few grades below me on the corporate ladder! She is smoking hot and I would not give a second thought if I met her in bar but what would you do in an office environment???

"Then drink tea and go get a girlfriend.. best be safe than sorry."

The guy is only trying to start a forum discussion, no need to be quite so offhand.

OP I would take caution with this, it is flattering to have a pretty girl flirt with you but at work its not really worth it. Play it down, keep it friendly but professional

If I were you I would stay away, best to keep personal life and work as two separate entities. Plus if she finds out, it could get ugly in the workplace and you wouldn't want that now would you

NEVER get involved with anyone you work with.

EVER.

No matter how 'hot' 'rich' or 'sweet'

Doesn't matter how you think you can handle it.

Will she be okay if you don't want to continue ?

What if she talks about you to others?

What if she makes things up ?

This is your life and income.

Don't risk it for a few minutes of relief.

Have a wank , a cuppa and find someone you are not going to have to deal with in work.

It depends how much you value your job. I would blow her out originally, telling her you really want to but working together puts you off and then I'd respond to any texts going and let her think she was working her magic on you - agree to meet her for a social (somewhere hush hush) then I'd fuck her over the car bonnet!!!

A little.

She'd still be at his place of work the next day though if he didn't.

Maybe he could marry her and leave her at home then.

"and then kill her ?"

Maybe, you'd have to find a good wig so you could impersonate her at work though so no suspicions were raised, maybe scalp her?

How rude!

I've never kissed a cat or photocopied with one.

Why would I want a cat ?

Wouldn't it depend on the method of killing? Possibly blood red?

It can get awkward if and when things go wrong. Been there, done that myself, and I avoid any office fling/romance at all cost nowadays.

I have got involved with people at work plenty of times and never had a problem. Find out what she wants and then decide.

I predict an incident at the xmas party

Absolutely and definitely... keep the two separate. It is about professional boundaries! Besides colleagues may notice the "sizzle" and it can cause a lot of problems - it is just not worth it for the sake of some fun. Now if either of you left the company... then that is a completely different story.

Heard this before "keep it separate" "never see anyone from work" The funny thing is most relationships, long term and short, start in the work place! Most of us would not be here if our parents had 'not dated anyone from work' and neither would my kids!

OP, Go for it but take the usual cautious steps as she is already seeing someone.
