It bugs the hell out of me the amount of msgs we get from people, who obviously havent. And then they get upset and often stroppy.

Majority don't read mine and those that do always expect some kind of reward and recognition. I don't tend to give a shit either way. I can choose to ignore or politely say no thank you

I'll never understand why people don't read profiles properly. I've often clicked on a profile thinking we could be a good match and then I'll see something within they're profile that tells me I would not be a good match for them, so I simply move on. I wouldn't bother wasting theirs or my time in sending a message

I think most of us do enjoy it, but are so jaded and fed up with the way we get treated. We shouldn’t have to add lots of rules into profiles, but the levels of entitlement and disrespect means that many do.

It is also because of the numerous about of messages you get daily from chancers, that by putting in rules, you'd hope to put them off to some extent

You're right, and some rules are just fine. But I'm talking about the kind of bad attitute that judges everyone before anyone has even sent a first message, profile level.

I believe our profile right now expresses very clearly.

Yet we still get around a dozen messages daily asking to meet.

We tend to be very clear on what we seek, when we seek etc to make it easier for anyone interested to consider whether or not we may be a match.

I guess it's just the nature of the beast, being a site based around casual sex, many will log in already horny and wanting an immediate result.

It's an unfortunate frustration, but not enough to ruin my day.

My profile is written specifically for those who won't take the time to read it.

I can tell from the first message if they did or not.

Half of the messages I receive are from people who think I don't really mean anything I say in my profile and even if I do I should be grateful to get a message at all so the rules don't apply to them.

Please just read that we are a couple. We are sick of replies that look like they are replying to a single woman..

It has got to the stage where in may be easier just to ban single men.

It’s probably a fine line between too short and too long, I just don’t care.

I personally read profiles in the hope they’re entertaining, and if I was going to message somebody I’d like to know some basics first or if I would even fit the criteria of what they’re looking for.

Surely you’d have to be some kind of stupid to message somebody and ask what they’re looking for when it’s written in black and white on the profile you’re looking at?

It’s so frustrating. My profile is clear on what I’m looking for - so as not to waste my time or theirs. Still 9/10 messages I get are from people who haven’t read my profile. I’ve also recently started getting messages from people who have read my profile but don’t like what it says, so they message me to tell me…

My profile stays hidden most of the time now because of this!!!

I just use it as a filter, if they haven't read I can delete.

I'll always reply, even with a no thanks, when it's clear they've read my profile.

It applies to men, women and couples too, all are guilty of not reading a profile or reading it and thinking it doesn't apply to them.
