Should start by saying I question everything. So please try to have an open mind with this one.

So having spent a lot of time watching porn in my younger years I have kinda become hardened to it (excuse the pun) and this has led me to question my relationship with it. I mean at one point I even used to have two videos running at once in order to keep my interest.

It is only in the last few years that I have started to watch less. I always thought I watched a lot because I have a high sex drive and it was never looked down upon by those around me. Me and my friends would openly discuss our favourite pornos and regularly swap and copy videos.

So to the discussion.... Do you think you are addicted to porn? Or is it sex you are addicted to? And most importantly, do you think this is healthy for you? Or have you ever questioned this?

I've heard and read some really interesting things about this topic but I'll quote Russel Brand as I found it to be an interesting poiny. He says:

"Our attitudes toward sex have become warped and perverted and have deviated from its true function as an expression of love and a means for procreation because… the way we have designed and expressed it has become really really confused.”

He goes on to say: “Pornography reduces the spectacle of sex to a kind of extracted physical act". I also remember hearing a rapper say "if you live for sex, you die for sex". Which I found to be quite a poignant statement.

I don't want an argument here (feel like you have to say that no matter the topic) and I'm definitely not against sex or porn, hence me being on here. I'm just interested to hear other's thoughts on this. Having had some of the most amazing times that have involved sex, I have

started to think about why they were so good. Was it the sex? Or was it the human connection? Was it the place, time and situation? I should also say I have had some bad experiences that involved sex. Not because of a person's looks, but more because I was just doing it for the release. Like I would with porn I guess.
