I’m looking for advice about where to start with a really good photo shop app? I don’t mean filters or beautifying apps but one that can change a background completely or add things in.

Anyone any good and can give me tips on where to start? Ta

GIMP is free and really powerful, and well supported by tutorials.

There’s an app (or was) called ‘cut me in’ not sure if it’s still available though

Snapseed is good for general lighting. You can also get a free photoshop on your phone for backgrounds.

I use gimp. It'll do pretty much anything that photoshop can do (and has a better name!)

Photoshop mix on an iPad can suffice, I think it’s free but not sure it’s still available. Use the layering and cut out tools also the feathering one to blend into the new background

Gimp will work on a laptop or desktop, you will need to learn layering there are some good YouTube videos to talk you through that

Missin’ Yo’ Kissin’

I have used Gimp & Photoshop.

I think you can get a free browser on-line Photoshop I seem to vaguely remember. Otherwise you will have to pay however much it is for it.

Last time I had it (a few years ago), it was about £9/£10 a month. I got an offer from PC world for the year.

There are Gimp tutorials on YouTube that can really help you. They are very good! They show you what you have mentioned...

W.H.Smith sells how to use Photoshop magazines. They are good too! All you would have to do is enter how you would do it in Photoshop but for Gimp.

That's what I've done in the past...

Sorry, forgot to mention. There is also "paint.net" too!

That's another choice for you. There are tutorials for that too. It's free also.
