Girlies!!! It’s January, so I hope you got rid of your xmassy nails and got something new instead

I had red for the most part of December (wow, groundbreaking!!

)

Anyway, got my nails DID the other day and they are a lovely purple/lilac-cy

While my toe nails are sort of matching, with a pearly purple!

OMG I can’t go back to my local nail salon after what happened Xmas eve.

One of my daughters presents was for her to have her nails done, just gelish cos she’s only 12 and I was gonna have a full set of acrylics with nail art and diamantés. Any how I booked 9 days in advance for 4 o clock, specifically asked if we’d both be done the same time as it was Xmas even and you know, we had shit to do. They said yes both done the same time won’t take more than an hour. Got there at ten to 4. 6 people sat at stations, two nail techs! Waited till 17:15 asked my daughter to check the car was locked outside the salon cos she hates it if I cause a scene and I kicked off. Saying that I should have been told when we arrived that there would be at least a 2 hour wait. Said that I would’ve booked it for the day before if they couldn’t keep to their appointments (wouldn’t have been ideal as I was still wrapping the bull if my presents the day before and needed my own nails for the cello tape). Anyway left in a royal huff along with 3 other people who followed me all moaning and complaining.

They’re greedy see, they let walk-ins be done as well as trying to keep the people who have actually booked for specific times then they expect everyone to just wait around.

Soooo I need to find a new salon

The Christmas sparkle has gone and I have a lovely naturally, pale pink in short. Very pleased with them

Still got my red glittery Christmas Shellac, but will be soaking them off tonight. I might go for neon pink this time - pink is my favourite colour.

January nails? February screws! March bolts... April nuts. May rivets & June glue. July duct tape. August silicone sealant. September welding. October chewing gum!! November string and sealing wax. December.... bugger, it all fell apart anyway

Mine are still purple with silver glitter from early Jan. Getting them redone on Friday with a blue cats eye polish. They're really long now and sooooo beautiful.

Well it's soon the end of the month and I'm starting to think about going matte black in time for Valentine's Day.

Right now my nails are natural with a nail strengthener and vat of cuticle oil on, letting them grow.

Ended up having mine did, milky pink with a golden shimmer and a tiny Pearl stone appliqué on each nail.

Wondering how long before they start falling off, LITERALLY not gonna use my hands for anything particularly manual, for the next 2 weeks

All of my finger nails have snapped

One of my thumbs is down to the quick

Oh.... and I have dark grey polish left on ONE of my toes.. Of course the big toe

everytime i take my socks off in the gym i roll my eyes at myself and have to put my socks back on

Ive had some ends chip at me too, urghhh

So freaking frustrating

I let one of my younger sisters take off the gel and do them during the Xmas hols, well big mistake as they got weak from all the heavy handling…….
