Yeah, been away a few times ( and going this year too ).

We have been various places, some to relax, some to get crazy, some for just the kids.Depends what you want, we have been to the Caribbean,Canaries,Ice hotel in Sweden, Cruises, USA, Etc,

I think the most memorable was probably Disneyland 1999/2000 for Xmas at Disney and the millenium celebrations in Vegas.

Hoping this year will be even better tho

If you mean us, then We ( larger family, parents etc included) have hired an Island just to be away from everything, its a chill out relaxing place, its supposed to be good , so We're really looking forwards to it now .

If you didn't mean us, then sorry

We have been to Weymouth a few times and I've also been to Portgual before. We prefer Weymouth at New Year though rather than Christmas so that's where we'll be this year!

For me, nowhere beats Monaco for X-mas and New Years. Hire a yacht for New Years, host a party and get dressed in your best couture! Can't beat it!

best xmas we had was waking up on a beach in south east asia at mid day and only discovering it was xmas about 6pm - we will probably go away and were thinking about hiring a cottage somewhere in the uk - the problem is they are all too big - anyone fancy a swinging xmas with us? just an idea?

Yep, a few years ago I went to Austria for a few days before Christmas, then travelled back up into Germany and spent Christmas day and Boxing day there - It was fantastic, much better than staying at home.

It had a more traditional feel about ti somehow
