Back to work tomorrow?

I am. Feel like I should be doing something to make the most of the time, kind of like a Sunday evening feeling x3.

Instead I am Netflixing with my cat (an actual cat).

Who's back to work tomorrow?

I've asked for one more day of leave. Mainly because I now have a hospital appointment in the middle of the day and makes more sense to just be off

Im actually looking forward to being back. I worked between Xmas and New Year but there was hardly anyone else working so it was pretty boring and I couldn’t do much because of some systems being down. It will be nice to get back to some form of normality. Spring will be here in the blink of an eye

Yesh, he has a full time job of sleep, eat and watch birds. Doesn't bring me any money for board and lodge though.

Diagonally Parked in a Parallel Universe

Back tomorrow. Alarm set for 5.30am. With travelling, it's a 12-hour day. Was hoping for an early night but a friend has just phoned to say they're in the area and asked if they could pop round for a chat. As I've not seen them for 18 months due to Covid restrictions I said "yes".

Nothing wrong with a little QT with the felines. I'm hanging out with Dr Claws and The Devastator at the moment, they le ve getting to see more of me while I'm off work. It's true, it does feel like there is some kind of FOMO like I should be going out and doing things but most stuff is pretty quiet at the moment so I'm mostly just catching up on rest.

Yes first calls is at 7am tomorrow . Been off since 17th Dec too so have a ton of stuff waiting.

I just swam 32 lengths to relax as I was stressing thinking about all I have to get done this week.

Worked in between Christmas and New year but 'properly' back at work tomorrow so it will be a shock to the system and trying to get back in to a routine ...

...4 day week though so looking on the bright side?!
