St.Austell

Any couples or ladies venturing down to Cornwall this year for a holiday?

I’m sure lots of fellas are too but at the moment it’s couples and ladies we would like to hear from

I'll be watching this thread keenly - hoping that this year will be when I finally get to play with someone who's down this way on holiday!

Good old "Fore Street" - there are over 70 of them in Cornwall...

I realised that - I was simply commenting on the commonality of "Fore Street" here...

....Cornwall and Devon each have more than double the whole of rest of the UK...

Clearly a lot of Fore play on words in Cornwall and Devon

I’m now actually intrigued as to the etymology of the use of fore as a road name. Given Cornish mining heritage im going to hazard a guess it’s got something to do with that however it could be that we’re all filthy and like foreplay haha

Fore Street means Street Street or Main Street but effectively “Fore” means Street as most small villages and towns in Devon and Cornwall only had one street it was named the “fore” hence it has come to mean Street Street. Fore is a nautical term to mean the front of something which is probably why it’s used so much in Devon and Cornwall

Tell me about it. I’m like “you can get a bus through there” when people are panicking on the country roads.

I've seen so many try reverse in our country lanes and back up in to the hedge,. I do my best to only giggle after I've passed them
